Here I am again with another post on an exciting day out that I went on with Sylvanian Families UK to celebrate the new town with the world's smallest cat walk! It was a lovely day and if you can I would highly recommend going to one near you as they are still on tour and they are also in Hamleys toy shop window in London so pop along to have a look, it's simply adorable!
I hope you like this post, please feel free to leave a comment:)
The sylvanians on tour are based in shopping centres. They have lifesize displays of the new town so you feel like you're actually there yourself! They even had the lampshades (as featuring in the new town.)
There was a character "meet and greet" to have your picture taken with them and they even had Stella Chocolate and Theodore Maple. You then received a bag with sylvanian goodies in!
So here it is the famous catwalk that the figures actually moved around in and the sylvanians at the side were supposedly watching them and taking pictures so there were little lights to pretend that the flash went off, too cute!! The outfits came from a range of inspiration from the 80's disco to Victorian to a wedding dress and the attention to detail was amazing! Unfortunately though these dresses are not for sale as they were made specially for the catwalk.
There was a display of the brand new town with the tram that actually moved...
I really hope that you enjoyed this post and if you aren't able to make it to see the catwalk that you are more informed about it now. See you next post! xx
I hope that you are all well and having a good February:) It's lovely to be back with another post about this very exciting Brand New sylvanian families town event that I went to recently. I don't know how much any of you have heard about the new town but if you don't know that much about it it's essentially the new range that epoch are bringing out where sylvanians can visit at the weekend where her new older sister Stella lives.
The day was brilliant and it was so lovely to see so many friendly faces there, it really made the day! If you went then I hope that you had a lovely day and if not then hopefully the pictures can inform you what the day was about, so...
I went in the afternoon session so after arriving and collecting a special sylvanian lanyard we went in and the day ran as follows:
- at 1:30 it opened
-2-2:25 town mascot show
-3:40-4:00 village movie premiere (a new animated sylvanian film based in the new town, pictured below!)
-4:10-4:30 village mascot show
It was in a lovely location and it fitted in very much so with the new range in the town and in side the interior was beautiful! There was a sofa in "Stella's designer studio" where you can have your picture taken along with some new large display figures in the new town clothing. There were also many big display boards,a craft station where there was a brand new competition for all little ones to have a go to design a dress for Freya, complementary croissants and tea and of course play tables.
There were also lovely displays showing off the new range and even a moving tram (all pictured below) and there was a display with some of the costumes to give children an idea as to what type of outfit they could design for Freya.
I hope that you liked this post and please comment if you have any thoughts.
See you next post! Sending sylvanian hugs! xoxo
I hope that you are all well and having a lovely January!
Last Saturday, for Sylvanian Memories' birthday we went to the sylvanian shop together and here are some pictures that I took. It was such a good day and I would highly reccomend visiting to any sylvanian collector, such lovely staff and it makes a lovely sylvanian day out! And of course the shopping!! They have many discontinued items that are flair, tomy, the old japanise style etc which makes it great as you can't buy a lot of the stuff here elsewhere which makes it even more special! As some of you may remember I went for the past 2 years as well and I was very lucky! The link is below to see the reviews. Lastly thank you to Sylvanian Memories and I'm sure that you had a great day like me and it was a great way to celebrate such a special birthday!
I hope that maybe you might be able to visit too! See you next post! xx
Hope that you are all well and had a lovely break over the Christmas period!
Today is a review of the Sylvanian Families Club figures, enjoy!
For the new Sylvanian Families fan club you can now choose one of either the adorable Melinda or Freya which each come in their own collectors box (all 4 released since 2015 are pictured below). Melinda comes in a lovely pink and white dress with a chefs hat, ideal to go with the brand new cake shop. Freya comes in a lovely dress and hat and she is simply adorable! The fan club includes either one of these figures along with 4 magazines per year, a membership certificate, a birthday card and lots more! It's a perfect present to buy little ones (and bigger ones like myself!) so then they can not only have a gift but also enjoy it all year round! Highly recommended :)
I hope that you are all well!
Firstly, may I just say Merry Christmas, I hope that you all have a lovely festive season and I'm sorry that I have not been active recently, I have just been so busy with everything but I really hope that this story makes up for it as I have worked so hard on taking the pictures and making the thatre!
This is the second part of a story that was started by Sylvanian Memories, a fellow blogger and we are very close friends too!
Enjoy and Merry Christmas form me and all of my sylvanians! xx
As some of you may know from Social Media, it was my Birthday recently so here is are some pictures to celebrate :-)
The first one is of Rocky Babblebrook and Taylor Timbertop receiving lots of Misty's birthday presents through the post and the second one, top right is of Summer Evergreen and Scarlett Slydale keeping Misty distracted while the party celebrations continue. The bottom left one is of when Pearl Babblebrook managed to get in the kitchen, adding a "little bit of this and a little bit of that!" Then the bottom right one is on Misty's birthday!
Hope that you have a lovely week! Misty Walters x
This post is about when I went to hamleys toy shop in London and what I thought about the sylvanian section that they have there.
At hamleys there were a lot of adorable displays and a wide range of epoch sylvanian families. There was also a Ralph Walnut to have your photo taken with so if you are passing by then I would recommend to have a look in!
Hope you enjoy the pictures and I will see you soon on the next post ;-)
Following up from my review of the lighthouse last month, here are a few summery pictures of the lighthouse's grand opening and the sylvanians even put bunting up to celebrate!
Hope that you are all having a lovely summer whatever you are up to :-)
Two years ago to this very day the 27th of July 2017, Sylvanian Memories and I set up this website and ever since I have been posting!
It has been an AMAZING 2 years and I have learnt so much about not only sylvanians, also photography and generally technology in general as before this I hadn't really touched a computer for leisure time! If I had to choose one time that was the most Special I would choose the Sylvanian Weekend as it means so much to me to see all of the same friendly faces every year (I did a post on it last month).
I really hope that Sylvanian Time gets better and better and I have many plans that are still to be revealed so keep your eyes peeled and please do feel free to leave a comment- it really does mean a lot to me to know that people appreciate what I do and love!
Here's to another great year of Sylvanian Time!
Some pictures of some of the highlights for me over the past 2 years and hopefully some of the pictures will take you down 'Memory Lane'...
Today's post is a review of the brand new Starry Point Lighthouse that has a light up tower so that you can see the Sylvanian night skies!
Hope that you like this post!
The front and back of the packaging are of the night and day with the lighthouse and inside it has instructions of how to set it up and how it connects to other new products.
There are many different ways in which you can connect the lighthouse to many different new products that are pictured below and my favorite is the sky ride adventure as you can attach the baby hot air balloon to the side! This really helps children's imagination to go wild while playing.
Here are a few pictures of the parts of the lighthouse as I opened it as I noticed that the attention to detail was incredible! For example the cooker has a hob in the shape of a ship's steering wheel. Also, the lighthouse has many shell decorations, the floor has many different icons on it like bubbles or crabs. The sofa also looks like a shell,
This all give the lighthouse a real nautical seaside feel.
These are the slides that you can slide into the lighthouse so they project these pictures on your ceiling, my favorite is probably the moon one as sylvanians are flying as a silhouette in the foreground!
It also comes with stickers of seagulls, clouds and stars for you to decorate the interior with.
It comes with an adorable story book to read to your little ones in bed which is about why the lighthouse is furnished as it is.
Overall, I would highly recommend this new product as this product allows the imagination to run wild while playing with it and down to every last detail, it feels so nautical. The projection onto the ceiling will put little ones in awe and make it feel like their sylvanians are truly coming to life!
Hope to see you on the next post! :-)
Today's post is about the Sylvanian Whitchurch Weekend 2017 which seems to be better every year and this year the sun was shining really brightly!
Thank you so much to Sylvanian shop for organising it yet again this year and it may be my 7th time of going to Sylvanian Weekends!!! Also, thank you to Sylvanian Memories for making it such an amazing day for me!
Anyway enough of me chatting here is why the Sylvanian Weekend 2017 was so amazing...
The setting of the sylvanian weekend is always so beautiful and simply sylvanian! It brings nature, family and sylvanians together. I hope this is conveyed through the pictures! The shopping is in the Gill Nethercott community centre and the marquee is on the grounds of the Silk mill which is also free (normally you pay to go in). There is a lovely lawn out the back where picnickers can sit to eat in the sun beside a stream.
Throughout the day there were many characters for you to have your picture taken with which are pictured below and stickers were given out when you had your picture taken with them.
I particularly love the picture of Bill Waddlington sitting beside the stream relaxing!
Marquee and dances...
Inside the marquee there were many activities for the little ones to take part in including modeling to make sylvanian food, aqua beads and face painting. There were also 3 dances throughout the day which the characters on stage performed a routine to different songs.
This year the displays were amazing as ever and they were even displaying some of the new epoch products like the ballet theatre and light house. If you would like to see more pictures of the displays have a look at Sylvanian Weekend 2016's post (link at the bottom of this).
What you can't go home without doing a bit of (or a lot of!)... shopping! The shop this year had a variety of epoch and flair (but mostly epoch) along with the latest products. There were also exclusive mugs that had the figures from the old magazine which are gorgeous so one of those may have "fell" into my shopping basket!!
You may see some new items being added to my families and figures pages from here...
And so ends yet another AMAZING and sunny sylvanian weekend, I really hope that some of you will be able to go one day if you haven't already and if not then you have enjoyed reading about it!
See you on the next post!
It also comes with many adorable stickers that you stick onto it along with a little telephone leaflet.
I would highly recommend this product to any sylvanian collector as it is an iconic part of British heritage for Sylvania.
See you on the next post!
Today's post is a review of Elsie's Ice Cream Cart that I received as I am a Friend of Sylvanian Families. It is a delightful product that comes with a bicycle and a ice cream side cart with a basket at the back, a sun parasol, ice-cream accessories and Elsie the cow mother in a striped pink dress with a pinny.
Included with this lovely set are some stickers that you can easily place onto the bicycle (as shown below). I'm sure that you'll agree that they look adorable!
This set also comes with over 20 intricate pieces that include 4 ice creams and 4 ice lollies as well as an ice cream scoop and of course the bicycle and figure.
The ice-creams can either be placed in the 'cooler compartment' or on the outside for the sylvanians to see (as pictured below).
Overall, I would highly recommend this product to any sylvanian collector due to the great balance of a figure to adorable accessories which is great and what I used to love when I was little! The figure also has a sea side themed costume, perfect for those hot days selling ice-cream down the beach in Sylvania!
See you on the next post!
Hope you are all well and had a nice Easter break.
Today's post is about the ice cream van that I kindly got from Sylvanian Families UK.
The ice cream van is an adorable item for collectors of all ages (especially at this time of year with the sun and the summer fast approaching) and it has over 20 accessories but my favorites are probably the ice cream dispenser (explained below) and the ice cream that can have 3 scoops on.
When you open the box it comes with the ice cream van which you stick the stickers onto.
The ice cream dispenser is better than I ever thought it could be! With the clever design it can dispense ice cream when you put an ice cream "top" in, then press the button to let the ice cream down onto the cone (as pictured below).
This is what the set comes with once all of the stickers are stuck on...
Overall, I would highly recommend this product due to the attention to detail with all of the accessories which makes it look and feel like an authentic ice cream van. This product is a 'must have item' for all sylvanians for those hot sunny days!
See you on the next post! ;-)
Even though it's early I thought that it would be nice for you all to get excited about Easter. You might like eating lots of chocolate, doing many Easter Egg hunts or whatever else you are going to do!
Can you spot the Easter Bunny in a few of the pictures?! The babies have even found her miniature door to her house in the Sylvanian Woods!
Hope you like the pictures and see you on the next post!
Just a quick post to say, Happy Birthday Sylvanian Families!
It is such a unique and thoughtful brand that has touched the hearts of many throughout its years and even though it has undergone many changes, the core of sylvanians is still there!
Hope you like this pic of sylvanians from many eras coming together for a party to celebrate!
This is my post about the Baby Car and Tricycle as I am a Friend of Sylvanian Families.
This is a wonderful epoch product and it comes with in total: 1 car, 1 tricycle, 1 watering can, 1 spade and 2 pieces to attach onto the back of each baby cart ( pictured below).
It is a wonderful pocket money toy for collectors of all ages and children could play with this product for hours on end going on adventures with our friends, the sylvanians! The tricycle comes with a teddy molded in plastic at the front and the mini car steering wheel actually turns which makes it realistic!
Overall, I would recommend this product as it is suitable for all ages and it is just an adorable set to add to any sylvanian collection, however big or small!
Hope to see you on the next post!
As some of you may know from twitter, I recently went to the sylvanian shop and it was just as good as ever with the beautiful displays and friendly staff, making it such a wonderful day!
And as quite a few of you will know, it is not possible to leave the sylvanian shop without buying anything so some of the more observant of you may notice a few more figures&families being added to my families and figures pages and at the bottom of this post there is a picture of what I bought! Unfortunately, the sylvanian shop are fast running out of quite a few items so I was very lucky to buy the things I bought!
I also visited St Johns School (pictured below) that had the sylvanian St Johns school was based on. It is very close to the sylvanian shop. There also used to be a primrose nursery that had the sylvanian primrose nursery based on that as well!
I would highly recommend any sylvanian collector to visit the sylvanian shop as it's such a friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. As well this you can buy harder to find items or discontinued things! In my opinion it's the best shop in the world!!
Hope to see you soon and keep your eyes out for some more pictures on my travels section!

Hello and Happy Valentines day to those who celebrate!

Hope that you are all well!
This post is a review of the chocolate Labrador family that I received as a friend of sylvanian families so thank you Sylvanian Families UK for them! Unfortunately, they are out of the current range but I know you can get them from the sylvanian shop and from second hand auction sites!
Anyway, this is an adorable family that come in charming outfits in epoch packaging so they have flat hands. They are a farming family in Sylvania who enjoy making jams!
I would highly recommend this product to any collector of any age as this is an adorable family with lots of personality and they come in cute outfits (especially Hector Hunter- Smyth- the child boy)
See you on the next post!
This post is a review of the Master Bedroom set that I received as a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families' so thank you so much Sylvanain Families UK for them!
This set includes over 10 pieces and many pieces of furniture to furnish any sylvanian bedroom. The set includes:
-Bed (pillow, mattress, quilt and bed)
-Wardrobe (which is very cute and it even comes with a rack to hang clothes up inside it and a mirror)
-A dressing table with stool
-A bedside table with many adorable pieces to go on it like 2 books, a lamp and an alarm clock.
The books come with stickers (as pictured below) to stick the front covers onto. The clock also has a sticker to stick the face onto.
This set looks wonderful in any sylvanian house to furnish the rooms.
Overall, I would highly recommend this product to sylvanian collector of any age as the older collectors will appreciate the attention to detail and as younger collectors will have many happy hours playing with the many intricate pieces! Also, this set will make any sylvanian house a home!
Hope that you like this post and see you next post!
Hello and Happy new year to you all!
This post is a review of the luxury living room set that I recieved as a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families' so thank you so much Sylvanian families UK for them!
This set is a wonderful item that is ideal for furnishing any sylvanian home! It comes with a lot of small pieces including dasies and 2 vases, photographs in frames, a phone, 2 telephone books, wood for the fire and many other adorable pieces!
The fireplace even lights up if you put batteries in which makes your sylvanian homes have a lovely atmosphere. The telephone has a sticker that comes with it so that you can stick the numbers on and it also comes with 2 books that you also stick the stickers on to (as pictured below).
Overall, I would highly reccomend this product to sylvanian collector of all ages as younger collectors may enjoy seeing the fireplace and the older colectors will appreciate all of the detail with the accessories, like the dasies.
Hope you like this post and see you next time!
Hello and welcome to this years Christmas story!
Some of you may know that this is mine and sylvanian memories 3rd collaboration at Christmas time so please check out her story on her amazing website on the link below!
Enjoy and Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Misty and Hollie ;-)
One crisp winters morining in Sylvania, in the Waters household, Misty was just coming off the phone from her best friend Holly on one of their weekly chats as they lived many miles apart, when her parents let through a gust of wind to let the Christmas tree in! They had just been to the sylvanian woods to chose it themselves while Misty was standing in the hallway and her parents could not believe how long they were talking to each other for, they were the most talkative in the whole of Sylvania! Her mum, Nancy Waters, then asked for her to go out and buy some bread from the bakery as she would be busy all day putting the Christmas tree up and other decorations so Misty gladly said yes.
Misty then decided to go out to look for Hollie's Christmas present, a present for each member of their family as well as the bread as she had not yet got them anything. So Misty put on her favourite winter woollies along with her bag and walked along the paths of Sylvania. The first shop that she came across was the Watermill Bakery but Misty could smell the aromas before she could actually see the bakery itself!
Once Misty was inside the Bakery, she saw Benjamin Underwood take out some fresh bread out of the oven so Misty asked if she could buy that one but before she left she also spotted a biscuit that looked like her brother so she decided to buy that as well as his Christmas present! Misty then told him about the meet up that they were all going to go to around the Christmas tree on Christmas eve. They might even sing some carols but she said that it must be kept a secret from Hollie as she was coming over to spend Christmas with Misty and her family but she was not expecting all her other friends to turn up for a party! And we all know how Hollie Wildwood loves a party! Benjamin then said that of course he and his family would come.
Misty then made her way to the sylvanian town square to look for any other presents , when she bumped into Ernest Evergreen, the great sylvanian inventor! Misty asked him what he was doing and he said that he was repairing the tiles with his spade then she spotted that he had two! She then asked if she could have one to give her dad this Christmas as he loves building things as well and of course he said yes!
After looking around the sylvanian square for a while but not finding anything of interest, Misty walked to the Blackcurrant cafe where she bumped into Spring Vandyke so they decided to have a hot chocolate to warm them up! Marion was having a day off so Nanny Timbertop was incharge of the cafe so Misty asked them both if they could come to the meet up on Chrsitas eve and they both said that they would love to come and welcome Hollie!
Just as they were about to leave and put on their winter wollies to face the cold, Misty noticed the beautiful fresh flowers on the side and she asked if she could take them home to give to her mum for Christmas as she loves wild flowers and of cource she said that she could!
Back at home, Misty started thinking about what she could get for Hollie as she was now the only person that she had not got a present for when she saw all of the lovely photos on the fireplace. She thought that she would get her a photo frame with a photo of them inside so even when they were miles apart, she could always be with her!
Just a few days later, it was Christmas eve and Hollie came over in her festive Christmas outfit with Misty's present that she had got in the village store. Much to her suprise she was greeted by many of her sylvanian friends around a Christmas tree with a thick layer of snow on the ground for a very festive feel!
Throughout that day, Hollie and Misty had a wonderful time carol singing and playing with their sylvanian friends in the snow, they could not wait until tomorrow when they would open each others Christmas present! But the best Christmas present of all was that they could be together this Chrsitmas!
And Merry Christmas from the whole of my Sylvanian village!
This post is about a wonderful, festive set that I got as a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families' and I would highly reccomend this product as a Christmas gift for sylvanian collector (possibly younger collectors of sylvanians).
It comes with a lovely Freya Chocolate in a cheerful red outfit with a red Christmas hat, a Christmas tree and gold and silver accesories to put on it, a snowman, presents and plenty of other pieces like a star to go on top of the tree!
It also comes with a sheet of things to make up yourself (pictured below) so you can fold the presents, fold cards and press out christmas paper wreaths!
On the snowman/snowbunny there is a small hole at the front so you can put in a christmas decoration of your choice (so you can change it) as pictured below with the accessory in!
Overall, I would reccomend this product as a Chrsitmas gift for a sylvanian collector or just for your-self as it comes with a good balance of accesories and a figure!
Hope you like this post and Merry Christmas!
Willow Cottontail ;-)
This is a story about the Walnut Squirrel family that I received from Sylvanian Families UK (as a friend of sylvanian families) and follows up my last review of them. I really hope that you like the story and that you may be persuaded to get this wonderful family if you have not already!
See you next time, Willow Cottontail ;-)
It was autumn in the sylvanian village so the leaves were dancing gracefully to the ground to announce that winter was coming. Everyone was dressing up warm in their festive winter wollies and warming up inside like the Walnut squirrel family...
He did not intend to knock over the paints or spill the soup on Freya or even the other 101 accidents that involved him so when his mother gave him a look of disapproval he bowed his head, waiting to be told off for the one hundred and second time but all he heard was, "Tut, tut, tut! You need to become more like your sister here who has already started her homework and not got into mischievous business again." There was a long pause while Saffron modestly gleamed until she was the colour of her of her golden dress before her mother continued,"You're a cheeky monkey!" Saffron and Yardley wrapped themselves in a blanket of silence- there was nothing else to be said.
Moments later, a strong brisk gust of wind poured into the room followed by heavy thumps of wellington boots, then leaves and a trail of mud. Then Cedric boomed, "Oh hello , how nice to see you all, especially my golden girl!" Saffron just smiled at all of this attention but then Ralph had an idea!
Just as Yardley was about to nag her husband , Cedric, for bringing in half of the garden with him as well as a basket of fresh, homegrown vegetables, she was interrupted by Ralph saying,"Can I please go out for a bit, I won't be too long and when I come back I will be a good as gold? Please!" After glancing at one another, his parents reluctantly said "As long as you stay out of trouble!" Then with that, he was off!
Only 5 minutes later, Ralph had arrived at the Sylvanian woods ,that was on the other side of the village, out of breath as he had pushed his wheel barrow all of the way there. He then swiftly set off on his mission to impress his parents by finding real gold!
After two hours of non- stop digging, Ralph finally had to give up. He then slouched down to rest by a nearby tree. Only then did he realise what a mess he had made and how much soil he had digged up for no reason except to find an old fork that he briefly cleaned and placed in his wheel barrow. Reluctantly, Ralph hauled himself up from his seating position to clean up the mess that he had made before glumly dawdling home without any gold!
On his long walk back, out of the corner of his eye Ralph spotted something golden, it was honey! He was glad that he had found something like real gold that he had almost tripped over his wheel barrow so he went to ask Horace Honey, “Can I please have some of your delicious honey for my parents?” Ralph tried to put on an innocent face like his sister but what Horace said was, “You may have some of my delicious honey if you earn it and help me make some more as it’s harder than you think to make.” Ralph only thought about this for a moment before asking what he could do to help!
“I hope you don’t mind me saying that Ralph has been as good as gold helping me collect my honey, I couldn’t have done it without him!” Everyone was startled by this as they had not realised that Horace had walked in after Ralph (it was a pleasant surprise though) and especially Ralph as he had just realised what real gold was! Ralph then explained everything that had happened to his family about trying to find them durable gold to helping out Horace as a trade for some golden honey to just realising what real gold was- being kind, helpful “And having all of your loved ones around you!” Finished his mother and then they all hugged a long, loving hug.
Only when Ralph’s stomach grumbled as it has not eaten in hours did the hug end. They all then came up with the idea that they would all make vegetable and honey pie for them all to share using the home-grown vegetables from the garden and homemade honey! After quite a bit of teamwork, the pie was finally on the table and Horace and Ralph were discussing how they were going to improve and expand the beekeeping business by selling honey and vegetable pie that tasted delicious!
Ralph had now learnt his lesson that you do not need durable gold to have happiness and that instead what you really need has been there all along, a loving family and friends!
Thank you for reading and I hope that you like it!
