Hello, Here I am at long last posting the story about the Meerkat family which is well overdue and as I said in the last post I got them from Sylvanian Families UK as I am a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families'. Anyway, I really hope that you like it and please leave a comment if you have any thoughts about it! See you next time! Willow Cottontail :-) One sunny sylvanian morning, the Meerkat family were getting ready to go out to the park as the sun was shining brightly and it had not been very good weather recently. Gail was putting on her brand new hat that she was very proud of and her mum asked her if she needed any help but she insisted that she was old enough do do it herself. Once the Meerkat family arrived at the park they started to have lots of fun playing games like frisbee but Gail said that she was too old for games like that so instead she walked up to her father who was on the bridge over the river Silv. Soon a strong gust of wind came and blew Gail's hat off her head! Then the hat gracefully 'plopped' in the water sending ripples everywhere. Luckily, Harry, who knew the paths of Sylvania very well, said "Follow me! That hat is off west to the Watermill bakery." So the whole family followed him without hesitation. Just a few minutes later the meerkat family were on a path that led to the watermill bakery. Penleigh Buttercup and his horse were on the side of the path so he asked Harry if he wanted to buy any fresh fruit or veg but he was completely ignored as Harry was working out which route was quickest. Gail quickly shouted ,"Sorry, we are in a rush as we need to get to the Watermill bakery otherwise my new hat will get caught in the wheel and it will jam everything up!" Penleigh Buttercup nodded in understanding but he didn't quite know what was going on but there was no time for questions as the family were now out of sight! Only a few minutes later. the out of bereath family appeared through the tunnel which led directly to the watermill bakery, they just hoped that it was not too late! They were just in the knick of time the soaking wet hat was just about to get stuck but luckily Harry scoped it out of the water! The whole family sighed with relief as Gail's hat was now safe and they were not responsible for stopping all of sylvania's bread. Gail hugged her hat tightly and Harry said, "Now that we are all here, including the hat, I think that we should go into the watermill bakery to get a sweet treat after all of that running." They all nodded in agreement as they went inside the watermill bakery. Inside the warm watermill bakery they all chose something to eat and Beatrix said to her daughter," I know that you are a little bit older than your brother but you are still my little girl so will you let me help you learn how to do your hat up properly?" Gail just nodded and gave her mum a loving hug whilst the others chose a delicious treat to eat. Then they all went outside and layed down a rug to have their delicious pastries laughing about what a great but funny day they had all had! Thanks for reading and I hope that you enjoyed it.
See you next time! Willow Cottontail and my sylvanian friends :-) Hello, Today's blog post is a review of the Meerkat family which I have been sent by Sylvanian Families UK as I am a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families' and on the next blog post I will do the story about them which I promised I would do! Anyway, the Meerkat family are a lovely family and a brilliant addition to anyone's sylvanian collection. They have a slightly different body shape which makes them even more realistic as a Meerkat family as they have slightly shorter legs and a longer body but don't worry, they are just the same size as any other sylvanian family. All of the outfits are very well made (as usual) and their tails are beautiful! I would highly recommend this item to any sylvanian lover. Hope that you like this blog post! Willow Cottontail :-) A preview of next blog post's story about the Meerkats!
See you then! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello, This is a story about the Huckleberry family and what happened when the babysitter came round. I did this story a long while ago but I re-did a few of the pictures (at the end) so I'm sorry if some of the photography at the beginning isn't great! Anyway, I hope that you like it! Willow Cottontail :-) One delightful sylvanian morning George, Jane and their baby sister Christine Huckleberry were eating breakfast whist their parents were nagging at them for watching too much television as they were addicted to it! Their parents tried and tried to tell them that they had organised a babysitter but failed because they were too involved with the TV so they just left. As soon as the babysitter arrived she came in and stood directly in front of the television so that they couldn't see anything and just as they were about to start moaning she said, " I can't believe that you are watching so much TV when there are plenty of other things to do, I have made this list of fun things for you to before you start watching TV! The first thing on my list is to make a play so get to work!" The children groaned and exchanged glances saying in unison "But this is fun!" Although she just glared at them and turned the TV off so they obediently followed her upstairs. After a little while, they all were really enjoying themselves acting and they even found a castle in the loft which could be a piece of scenery which they would paint! Their babysitter just smiled to herself whilst she watched them having real fun! Soon after, they all came downstairs and they started to write the script to the play that they would perform later. By the end of writing the scripts they knew it off by heart and they were almost ready to perform! Once all of the scripts were written, they started painting the castle ; they all found it so fun and they had completely forgotten about watching the TV! The paint did go everywhere but luckily they had put down a mat beforehand so the floor wouldn't get paint all over it. When their parents arrived home they got in to costume and performed for them, it was perfect! Their parents said, "What a lovely surprise to see that you are acting like the TV yourselves, not just watching it! When it was time for the babysitter to leave she just smiled to herself as she heard their mum saying, "As you have worked so hard at performing that for us you deserve to watch a bit of TV now!" but both children shook their heads and said "No way! The TV is boring! We are going to do is what's next on the list, it says to go outside into the sylvanian wood and make a den..." The End!I hope that you liked this story, I am planning on doing another story again soon!
See you then! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
Today it's Mayday, a bank holiday, and to celebrate I have taken this photograph of Abbie Keats and Poppy Dappledawn dancing around the Maypole in Sylvania! I hope that you have had a good day and that you are doing something nice on this bank holiday! I hope that you also like the picture! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
Today's blog post is yet another review as I haven't been able to finish my other blog post which will be coming soon I promise! Anyway, the Beekeeper and Beehive is a lovey set with lots of accessories including the bee hive house and Horace Honey in his white suit and protective hat! The panels slide in and out of the beehive and it comes with four pots of honey for Horace Honey to sell. I would recommend this item to any sylvanian lover! Hope that you like this blog post! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
Today's blog post is a review of the Watermill Bakery which I got recently. The bakery comes with plenty of adorable accessories and I think that the sign which goes on the door is really sweet. Also, when the watermill turns the inside part also turns which supposedly mixes the bread. There is also an oven which opens so that a trey can be put inside it. This particular one comes in Epoch packaging although a lot of them are in flair packaging but they are harder to find new. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone who loves sylvanians! Hope that you have enjoyed this blog post! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
First of all, Happy Easter to everyone! I hope that you are having a lovely time and maybe doing something nice! Today's post is about Easter (obviously) and throughout the pictures there are a lot of eggs, see if you can spot them hidden in Sylvania! Recently I have made a path which is in some of these pictures and if anyone would like to know how to make it feel free to contact me via twitter or leave a comment. Hope that you like it and another Happy Easter from all of my sylvanians and myself! See you in the next blog post! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
Here are a few pictures of the Cottontail family and when they went on holiday, I hope that you like the pictures! Willow Cottontail (and all of my family!) :-) Hello,
Here are some pictures of the Racoon family of 3 which I got because I am a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families'! Hope that you like them and thank you Sylvanian Families UK for them! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
Happy Valentines day to everyone! Hope that everyone is having a good day even if they aren't doing anything for valentine's day! Hope you like the picture! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello, Last week I posted my blog post on my trip to the sylvanian shop and this is what I bought: the farm horse and cart, the beaver family, the around the world set UK and Brazil, , a sylvanian tape and wrapping paper! It was so fun to go to the sylvanian shop and it was lovely to add a lot of new items to my collection! Hope you enjoy this blog post! Willow Cottontail :-) Farm horse and cart The farm horse and cart was probably the main thing that I bought and it is really sweet! It comes with the cart, the horse, Penleigh Buttercup, lots of individual fruits, horse ,accessories a little table and signs! I would recommend this to any sylvanian collector or lover! The beaver family are so cute and they come in the flair packaging. Their teeth are really sweet and they look really good in pictures too! The UK and Brazil set came out when it was the 25th anniversary of sylvanian families and they come in the iconic costumes of UK and Brazil. I love their costumes, they are so sweet and really well made! This sylvanian tape came out a while ago and barely anyone uses tapes anymore but luckily we still have one so I listened to it and there were two really cute storys! The wrapping paper is really also a really nice and it has lots of families on it, but I love it so much that I don't think that I will use it to wrap things up! I hope that you all like my blog post and I would recommend all of these items to any sylvanian lover!
If you would like to buy any of these items then visit: http://www.sylvanianstorekeepers.com/ Or you could go and see Rocky and the team in London, I'm sure that they would be delighted to see you! Soon I will be doing a another section on travels page on the travels to the sylvanian shop and around London! Hope that you have enjoyed this post! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello, Today I will be blogging about my trip to the Sylvanian Families shop in London! It was such an amazing day and thank you Rocky for making it such a great day!! There are so many displays that have taken hours to set up and there are so many sylvanians! I was in the shop for 3 whole hours and soon I will do another blog post on what I bought. The attention to detail in this shop is amazing and everyone who came in there had come specially for a Birthday or just for a special day (like me) and everyone was from all over the world! In the shop there are so many posters ,figures and displays you really don't know where to look! They even had some big sylvanians in the display window and their toy award in pride of place! For me it was my first time to the sylvanian shop (and hopefully not the last) so we didn't really know where it was but it is in a nice area and we had to catch the tube there which was also fun. The sylvanian shop is definitely the best shop in the world in my books and I hope that one day you will go there too! Here are some pictures of the amazing displays and things that they had around the shop! Thank you very much Rocky for making it such a lovely day and thank you for reading this, I hope that you like it! Willow Cottontail ;-) Visit my blog again soon to see my blog post on what I bought at the sylvanian shop!

Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Christmas day is only tommorow now! This is a few pictures that I took with Sylvanian Memories ,Thank you for doing it with me! ( her amazing website is http://sylvanianmemories.weebly.com/) I hope that you like it! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello and welcome to the 3rd story and this story is about when Marcus and Ingrid go Carol singing! I hope that you like it and another Merry Christmas to all of my readers and thank you for reading my blog over this year! Hope you like it! Willow Cottontail ;-) Just a few days before Christmas in Sylvania, Marcus and Ingrid were outside the old windmill playing in the snow that had recently fallen. They were discussing the carol concert which was going to happen that night! Marcus and Ingrid walked along to the swing park where Marcus found his mum and he asked her if she could come to the carol concert that they were performing in that night but in reply she said, "I am doing something tonight but I can't quite remember what so I don't think that we will be able to come, sorry!" Disappointed ,Marcus and Ingrid walked away to try and find their friends to see f they could come and perform! Once they found their friends who were wrapped up warm from the cold and having a snowball fight they also asked them if they could also come but they also said, "I think that we are all doing something tonight but we can't quite remember what so I don't think that we will be able to come, sorry!" Marcus and Ingrid were then a little bit puzzled as to what else could be going on tonight other than the carol concert! A little while later, Marcus and Ingrid slowly walked to the conductors house to see if he could come but he also said that he also couldn't come! Therefore, Marcus and Ingrid started setting up for the carol concert alone and they were just about to leave and give up when ... Everyone suddenly arrived and shouted, "Surprise!" They explained that they had planned the surprise all allong ! The carol concert then started and it sounded amazing and everyone in sylvanian was singing Christmas carols and hymns. Everyone then shouted "Merry Christmas everyone" and they all went to bed to see what tomorrow had in store for them! Hello and welcome to the first story of the four that we will be doing! Sylvanian Memories and I will be doing four stories between us so I will be posting the next one on the 23rd of December 2015 and I will let you into a little secret that the one on the 23rd will be on a Carol singing! Thank you very much Sylvanian Memories for letting me use the lovely picture, it is amazing and so cute! Thank you all very much for reading and I hope that you like it, Marcus and Ingrid will see you tomorrow on: http://sylvanianmemories.weebly.com/blog Merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone!! Willow Cottontail :-) One frosty winters morning in Sylvania Marcus and Ingrid were at school setting up for the school fayre . They were really excited for Christmas although there had only been a little bit of snow but it was still cold so they wrapped up warm in scarfs. A little while later all of their friends had arrived along with Mr Buckley who were helping to set up. They set up lots of different stalls from tombola stalls to sweet stalls. They were almost ready to open up! Once everything was ready the mayor and his family arrived to announce the fayre open! There were lots of sylvanians gathered excitedly around them so the mayor said , "This winter fayre is now officially open!" Lots of sylvanians then started to excitedly look around the amazing stalls ,everyone was buying a raffle ticket! There was a lovely cake stall which was very popular and all of the cakes were freshly baked from the bakery! Above- Sylvanian Memories amazing picture!! Marcus had walked over to the raffle stall and Bruce Springer persuaded him to buy a raffle ticket and Bruce explained that meeting Father Christmas was the first prize. Marcus pulled out the number 10 and said, " Yay, it's my lucky number!" Suddenly, there was a gush of wind which blew the raffle ticket away! Marcus and Ingrid exchanged glances and ran after it whilst Bruce Springer just laughed at them! Soon they arrived at the park and they found the Maces Family and then Marcus spotted his lucky raffle ticket high up in the tree! So he asked Spencer Maces to get it down for him so Spencer went to find a ladder and he bravely climbed up despite his wife's worries! He soon got it down from the tree and gave it to Marcus and then Marcus and Ingrid walked back to the fayre. Just as they arrived back the raffle was being read out and the raffle ticket number 10 was read out!! Marcus went up and everyone cheered really loudly! As Marcus won first prize he won a trip to go and see Father Christmas! He and Ingrid walked off and as if by magic... They appeared in Father Christmas' grotto!! Father Christmas had been waiting for them and all around his workshop were toys for all of the good children around sylvania. Father Christmas asked if they would help him wrap up some of the presents in time for Christmas eve and of course Marcus and Ingrid said yes! What a wonderful end to such a wonderful day! Hello,
This is my new blog post on the Hedgehog family which I received as being a 'Friend of Sylvanian Families'. The hedgehog family are really cute and there are four characters in the family - a brother, a sister, a Dad and a Mum. There are four brushes that come with it so that they can brush their hair! Their names are: Mortimer Bramble , Eleanor Bramble, Maxwell Bramble and Abigail Bramble. They also come with the sylvanian leaflet which has some really cute pictures on! As well as this, they are really soft to touch and their clothes are made very well and really cute so. Overall I would recommend them to any sylvanian lover or collector!! Look out for another blog post on the Bramble family and have a look at them on the 'Families' page on my website! Thank You for reading and thank you Sylvanian Families UK! Sylvanian Memories and Sylvanian Time X Hello, Wow 5 months have flown by so quickly and I can't believe that only 5 months ago I had only just set up my website! It has been so fun to be a blogger and I love taking pictures of my sylvanians, it's so fun! Thank you to all of you who have visited my website and a special thank you to my best friend, Sylvanian Memories who has helped me so much with my website and I couldn't have done it without her so thank you! Here are some of the highlights over the past 5 months. Willow Cottontail :-) In July it was the official opening of my website and I was working on my website for hours! It was so fun though and it was so exciting to see my best friend! In August it was very sunny so I did a blogpost of some pictures outdoors! In September I was very busy so I just did one small blogpost on a puzzle that I bought! It was also my birthday!! In October I was very busy, I did the story, Birthday Surprise and I started up the travels section of my website. Also, I did a halloween blogpost! It was so fun to do the travels section and I could share with the world what I had been up to! Finally, in November I did the nursery blog post and of course it is the 5 month anniversary of my website on the 27th of November, today (if you are reading it on the day that I posted it).
Thank you for reading and for supporting me over the past five months and especially to my beat friend, Sylvanian Memories! I'm sure that the past five months will be as good as the next and I am sure that you will continue supporting me and my website! Thank you for reading! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello,
Welcome to my new blog post which is some pictures of the nursery children on a day outdoors. As you might have been able to tell ,because of the sunny weather ,I took these pictures a while ago when the weather was better! Hope you enjoy it! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello and welcome to my new blog post! This is a story about the Cottontail's and the Golightly's holiday! Hope you enjoy it! Willow Cottontail :-) Later on that morning, Holly and Arron went to the nursery to tidy up when they just remembered that it was Gromwell’s birthday! The babies were so excited that they knocked over the toys that they had just tided up! A few minutes later, they were downstairs in the kitchen preparing the party tea that they were going to make for him! The babies had tucked in with the cake leftovers and had consequently got messy so they used a napkin to tidy themselves up! Just as Gromwell was about to come into the kitchen to see what was cooking, due to the glorious smells, Sorrel was walking by and managed to stop him just in time! Therefore, to distract the birthday boy, Sorrel said that they would go into the garden and play some games. A little while later, they were outside playing some games in the summer sun and luckily, Gromwell had no idea what was in store for him! Meanwhile, the girls were making him a birthday banner in their bedroom so that it would look like a party! A little while later, Gromwell walked into the kitchen and was amazed by everything. As he had been so busy recently, he had completely forgotten about his birthday! In the middle of the table lay a beautiful birthday cake, homemade by his wife earlier, and on the wall was a homemade banner! Gromwell sat down and looked at all of the party food in amazement. Only a few hours ago he sat there reading the newspaper, having forgotten it was his birthday! What a surprise! Hi Sylvanian Peeps,
Sorry I haven't posted anything for so long but I have been very busy! Anyway, this post is about a sylvanian puzzle which came out in about 2005. Unfortunately it didn't come with the figure but I still think it's great! There are 60 pieces in the puzzle so it's not too hard to make. Although the box is a little bit bashed, the actual puzzle is fine. I hope you like it! Willow Cottontail :-) Hello Sylvanian Peeps,
This is a post to celebrate summer and sun! I hope you like it! Willow Cottontail :-) |
